Position: PRT English/ KGT

Work Location: Alpha School, CIT Nagar, Saidapet.

Experience: Min 1 yrs of experience as English Teacher handling PRT Level.

Job Summary: The English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in English language and literature to students across various grade levels. The teacher will inspire a love for reading and writing, develop students’ communication skills, and prepare them for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Develop and assess student understanding of English language and literature.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and strong communication skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Assign and grade homework, tests, and assignments.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and integrate cross-disciplinary learning.

Qualifications:

• UG/PG in English Literature with B.Ed. & Excellent Communication Skills, Diploma in Montessori.
• Teaching certification or relevant credentials.
• Experience in teaching English at the school level is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students in learning.
